Probat UG22 – a timeless classic

Even though the production of the original Probat UG22 coffee roaster has finished many years ago, it is still one of the most sought after classic coffee roasters. It is very difficult to find one for sale, as thanks to the sturdiness and simplicty of operation, they still can roast coffee beans perfectly. We have found this one in a old roastery in Morocco, where it has not been in use for years. The essential parts were in good contition though, and we were able to make it operational again. The full refurbishment of this roaster included – sandblasting, painting, replacing bearings, replacing the insulation, rebuilding the burner and installing modulation, making a new stainless steel drum cover, installing new direct motors with speed control on the drum and exhaust fan. Additionally we have made a new electric cabinet and control panel, with a possibilty to connect the roaster with Artisan or Cropster roast logging software, so the machine is ready to roast coffee according to the most modern standards.
